ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Language requirements are based on clearing of the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall Band score of 6 (with a minimum score of 6 in each of the four components). The IELTS is an essential requirement for enrolment into the SAPC Stage I examination.

The Stage I Professional SAPC Exam consists of two papers with two sets under each paper. These are multiple choice questions that cover

And Laws pertaining to: Pharmacy Practice, Professional Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy Administration
Each set has duration of three hours and requires 50% each to pass. The exam is held in South Africa. These Professional SAPC exams are conducted in May, June and October each year. The exact date and venue are personally intimated two months prior to the exam by SAPC.
What is SAPC CERTIFICATE?
A SAPC certificate is issued to the candidates who successfully complete the examination and are judged competent based on the Competence Standards for Pharmacists. Finally, the Council decides the position to be taken up by the candidate based on the examination results and duly provided feedback from the overseeing registered pharmacist.
