ELIGIBILITY ASSESSMENT

ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Language requirements are based on clearing of either the Occupational English Test (OET) with a score of ‘A’ or ‘B’ in all four elements or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall Band score of 7 (with a minimum score of 6.5 in each of the four components). The OET or IELTS is an essential requirement for enrollment into the APC Stage I examination.
STAGE I EXAMINATION (KAPS)
The Stage I KAPS Exam consists of two papers of multiple choice questions that cover Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

Pharmacology
Physiology and therapeutics.
Each paper has duration of two hours and requires 50% each to pass. The exam is held in Australia but can also be written in our five centres in India (Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad). KAPS exams are conducted each year on the months of March and September.
After successful completion of the Stage I KAPS Exam, a skill assessment letter for migration purposes is issued
What is SUPERVISED PRACTICE?
In this period a candidate goes under training and practical experience of up to 2 months either in an Australian community pharmacy and/or hospital pharmacy. The candidate under goes coaching in the care of an Australian registered pharmacist to be eligible for further processing.
