You should move to Canada this year. Manitoba invited 450 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence in Expression of interest draw held Jun 20. LAA (Letters of Advice to Apply or Invitations) broke down as follows:-Skilled Workers Overseas: 323 Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 101 International Education Stream: 26 All three streams are part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). 
133 LAA issued for candidates in the Federal Express Entry system.Express Entry Candidates who obtain a provisional 600  nomination receive an additional 600 points towards their CRS score, effectively guaranteeing an invitation to apply for Canadian permanent residence.
More LAA issued for skilled workers in the following criteria:

  • Had a close relative residing in Manitoba or work experience in Manitoba.
  • Had at least 6 months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s in-demand occupation list
  • minimum language proficiency of CLB/NCLC 5 unless work experience is primarily in a regulated occupation (min CLB/NCLC7) Or a compulsory trade (CLB/NCLC6)

EXPRESSION OF INTEREST is the first step score based on their answers regarding (education, experience, proficiency in English or French) and connections to Manitoba.
